L’unique Delta

While learning all about Romania, it was clear to me that I would definitely go to see the “Delta”; a photographer’s paradise with water canals bordered by high stalks of grass, multitude of species of migration birds.  “Count me in” and more than once if given the opportunity. On this long weekend in September, I was probably a tiny bit too late in the migration season as some birds had already left like the pelicans I was hoping to see in my lens.  But considering that our time there ended up being sunny and agreeable, we had a wonderful experience.

Our inbound boat ride to the pension would last about 1.5 hours, going through alternative canals to let us get acquainted with our new unfamiliar natural surrounding.

Finally, we reached our pension and settled into our rooms just before dinner and the beginning of our food diet for the next 3 days: fish.   Take a look at the video link below to give you an idea of the pension’s exceptional surroundings.
