The most famous road in Romania. It was not constructed to be famous for tourism just one of the many obsessions of the dictator of the time, Nicolae Ceaușescu.
Sibiu, the easy to love city. So laid back and for its well maintained and walkable historic center.
My title is slightly misleading.. the Dacian site of Sarmizegetusa Regia is not technically on the direct road from Hunedoara to Sibiu. It is a detour in the mountains but so worth it.
From Sighișoara to Hunedoara, the trip is not long if you go directly but you will miss many sites. We did only a few, wanting to spend the mid-afternoon at Corvin Castle.
