Sibiu, the easy to love city. So laid back and for its well maintained and walkable historic center.
My title is slightly misleading.. the Dacian site of Sarmizegetusa Regia is not technically on the direct road from Hunedoara to Sibiu. It is a detour in the mountains but so worth it.
From Sighișoara to Hunedoara, the trip is not long if you go directly but you will miss many sites. We did only a few, wanting to spend the mid-afternoon at Corvin Castle.
Although one day is enough to stay in the old town of Sighișoara, the advantage of staying 2 nights is being able to explore a few local sites at a slower pace.
Sighișoara in Transylvania is said to be one of the best preserved walled old town in Europe and recognized as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In Romania, because of the traffic and road construction, a road trip needs to have a little bit of flexibility time-wise and spontaneity in its deviation from the "plan".
It's a "museum" but at the same time, not really. Thousands of collected items professionally displayed but you NEED a guide to explain the evolution of the collections.
Practical things of daily life in Bucharest, 2nd compilation
So little stomach space, so much food. We took our time to pick something to eat in this Open Air Food Truck Festival. The Wine part was in the Presidential Building.
